Marianne McIvor



Marianne trained at The Dance School Of Scotland from the age of 11, where at 17  she gained her Associate teaching qualification for the International Society of Teachers of Dance with Distinction and became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance passing her Advanced Intermediate Ballet with commended.

 

 She then moved to London at 17 to train at the Arts Educational Schools London where she was awarded a Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst in training Marianne taught ISTD modern and tap at the Arts Ed weekend school. After working in musicals in the west end touring and abroad, Marianne received a scholarship to train as an actor at The Academy of The Live and Recorded Arts, London.
Since then she has worked in TV , Film and Theatre throughout the UK.

Dance – Marianne danced at the Brit Awards with Simply red and also the European Show Wetten Das alongside Shakira, Lenny Kravitz and Enrique Iglesias. She also danced in Various pantomimes including Cinderella (The Kings Theatre, Glasgow), Snow White (E& B Productions ) Robin Hood ( Kilmarnock Theatre)
